First place at State 4-H horse show!! WHOOEE!!
Well, I was thinking I could add some Amano Shrimp to my 5 gallon. The only inhabitants are Annastasia's CT betta Bob, one very small female guppy and an ADF.
I have lots and lots of live plants in there, lots of hiding places. It gets plenty of water changes and I only feed the betta with bloodworms
What would I feed the shrimp?
And would my betta or frog eat the shrimp? Aren't they supposed to be big shrimp?
Thanks!
Robin

try posting this in the betta section (its great) im a betta-holic and i feed my fry and adults brine shrimp and they go insane but i've heard of people puting ghost shrimp in with there bettas so it should be fine as long as they are big enough and dont have pretty fins for the betta to nip at

and bettas can be brckish fish too id say about 1 tsp per gallon (thats teaspoon not table spoon mixing that up could be bad  )

i keep a male betta with 6 amano shrimps in a 5 gallon and they are fine

those shrimp get over an inch long so there's no way the betta could eat it

not sure about the frog though...

Yeah, I was thinking about my frog too. He's not that big though.

well you could always buy just 1 or 2 and see how it goes, then add more if they don't eat the shrimp
