Will aquarium salt kill beneficial bacteria?

I have a betta with mild fin rot that I'm currently treating with indian almond leaves. If the leaves don't seem to be working after a bit, I'm going to try aquarium salt, but since the salt is supposed to kill bacteria, I'm worried about crashing my cycle. Will the recommended dose of salt kill off all my BB?

no. beneficial filter bacteria can tolerate 2-4 heaped tablespoons of salt per 20 litres of water. for treating a Betta, use 1-2 heaped tablespoons per 20 litres.
