I've been trying to find out why my tank is a bit cloudy and the only thing i can think of is i added some salt to it. Will this do it? And what can i do to correct it if it is ?

It wouldn't make it cloudy. Perhaps if you stirred it up too much and didn't let it settle. However, if it is the salt, it should settle within a minute.

Is the tank new? How long has it been cycled? how much salt did you have? Do you need the salt? Do you have any fish or other animals that would be hurt by the salt?

According to my knowledge salt wouldnt make ur water cloudy. Maybe you're going thru a bacterial bloom.. water usually gets a bit cloudy when that happens

My water is cloudy too

Would frequent water changes fix this issue? (like 25% every 3-4 days)

It would be much better to leave it be until the tank reaches its equilibrium. Is it a new tank?

If the reason is an algal bloom, as caterpillar said, then it might be prudent to reduce the amount of nitrates, iron, phosphates, etc. in the water and to go ahead with the water changes.
