Just interested in what people would prefer.

Juveniles from a Wild breeding set OR Juveniles from Tank bred and raised breeding set.

NOT, Buying Wild or Tank.   Their Offspring...

That is an interestng question.
With tank or farm raised, they are acclimated to most parameters found in our tanks, by several generations, but the gene pool is limited. Wilds are just a step away, but fresh genes.
I am kinda torn, for the easily gotten I would go tank, for an exotic, or new found variety I might go wild.

I would say it depends on your water parameters - if your water parameters are not ideal cory parameters then get tank bred which are much hardier and adaptable - if your lucky enough to have perfect cory water then get the wilds ones

Its not a case of what would I buy, I am looking for my next breeding project and can get either tank raised Corys to breed with OR wild.

Then i would go for tank bred, wilds can be very finicky to get breeding. Some of the already tank bred species are hard to get going, adding them species as wild caught can be nigh on impossible sometimes ;).

What species are you planning Shaddex?

Loxozonus.  I have 5 Juveniles now, but I have been offered 6 Wild also.

Very nice mate, not bred them myself, found them quite hard or i just had jaffa males lol.... just be careful your getting what your getting.... lox, axles and cw21 can look very similar at times ;).

As to you getting wild caught, adding them to tank bred isn't actually as bad as a whole group of wilds in regards to breeding.

Good luck with the project :).

P.S.... not sure where your wild caught are coming from but just make sure they have been wormed and quarantined before hand, wilds often come in with various parasites.
