Who Should I Spawn Next?

well, now that my oldest fry are nearly ready for jarring, and i've bought a 6 gal tank to rehome my female betta pugnax, i'm ready to start thinking about my next spawn. i think i will be concentrating on plakats from now on. they're my favorite kind of betta, and i have several pairs i could work with. i'm leaning towards the orange plakats right now, but what does everyone think?

hmm. i could try for simultaneous spawning again, and then raise the babies together...

i'm pretty sure i'd still be able to tell whose fry are whose once they color up orange and shiny red should be distinctive enough!

agreed! 1 and 3! if just one, id go with the first one, i love the orange and how they seem to have white spots on them.

yup, thats why i picked her she (or one of her near-identical sisters) seemed the best match out of all the female plakats that i have

Its VERY unlikely you would have orange fry from the orange pair

But i think they are beautiful so i'd choose them just to see what you did get!
