White Stuff On Java Moss :(

I have loads of white balls in clumps all along my java moss, the best way i can think of describing it is like dandelion seeds (you know the grey seeds kids blow off) just like that but every few CMs along. It almost looks like part of the plant!

I cant take a photo as my cam cant get it focused

I have googled java moss and white stuff and read a lot of other people having it, i also found this image which shows what i have! No proper definitions on these sites though

Any ideas?

I think they are roots. I've seen this before on some of my moss once in a while.
