White Patch On Angelfish

My angelfish has developed a white patch or sore on his side. It developed about 2 weeks ago and was quite small, it was just white then and so I assumed he had been bitten by another fish during a fight for food or something.

The patch has now got bigger. I have started treating with melafix and pimafix together (have removed carbon). It looks slightly fluffy, although not too much. The patch is oval in shape, and I think just inside the outer ring of the patch it looks slightly red, although it hasn't been red before.

Any ideas what this could be, and am I treating with the correct stuff?

Petsmart( I cant stand them, but it is a good med) sells this liqiud called anti-fungus and will clear your fish right up. It costs about 4 dollars and lasts a while.

Its columnaris with the pimafix I would use a better bacterial med like myxazin.
