hi
i've had my tank now for about 5 months, an not lost a fish!

that was untill i brought 10 tetras (5 neon, 5 glowlight) the following day one died, i just put it down to the transfer.

three days later i notice one off them has white fungus on its side, wot should i do?

i also have 10 shrimp in my tank which are doing fine an two pregant guppies will any on the meds kill these?

thanks for your replys.

i've been to my lfs and they gave me "interpet anti fungus and finrot"

will this be ok with shrimp?

cheers

Size of tank in gallons or litres.
How many fish and which type.
Water stats in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate and ph.

What does the med instuctions say about using this med with invertbrates.
The interpet med not great on columnaris so if there no improvement in 5 days I would change meds.

hi
tanks 200 litres
9 tetras(only been in the tank 4 days)
4 mollys
3 guppys (2 pregant)
1 garra
and shrimp

water stats
0 for ammonia an nitrite
20 for nitrate
ph 7.6

med don't say anything about invertbrates!

Ok tank stocking and water stats look good.
Is more the parasite meds with inverts.
Its always best to have a plastic tank for them when you have to use meds.
Myxazin by waterlife and pimafix are better meds for columnaris.
Good luck.
