Some will have seen my plan before:

However, I'm not sure which plants to use for some of the areas, so I was wondering if you could help me out a bit. I dose daily with EasyCarbo and micro ferts (or a fertilizer which provides macros and micros when I order one). My lighting seems fairly bright to my eye, but I'm not sure on the exact specs.

a) A sword species such as or similar to Echinodorus Peruensis

b) The echinodorus quadricostatus (sp) I already have

c) Either narrow leaved java fern or a miniature variety I spotted (think it was on AE but can't be sure)

d) Anubias I already have on wood

e) Unsure. Perhaps a stem plant of some sort?

f) I've been thinking of two plants for this sort of area.
I thought of some smaller crypt species, such as Cryptocoryne Parva and/or Cryptocoryne Willissii to go nearer the wood. For the area at more the front of the tank/in the middle in front of possible crytps, I thought of either Glossostigma elatinoides or Hemianthus callitrichoides ‘Cuba’. Would either of these work in my setup? Any alternative ideas? Any thoughts or alternative ideas?

g) I'd like another plant here too, maybe the same as e, but I'm not sure.

I don't want to overcrowd my tank with plants, as after all it's only 28L/30cm.

Many Thanks. Any advice is greatly appriciated :good:

I'd try out some pygmy chain sword in section F as a foreground.

Narrow leaf or or trident java fern would be great for section C.

Sections E and G... hmm. I'm a sucker for wistera and water sprite, but I'm having trouble envisioning the textures of your final product. Since it's in the back, I wouldn't go with anything thin.

E and/or G - Bacopa? It is on the thin side though...
