I have a Juwel rio 180 and have
6 Cories
5 Black Ruby Barbs
6 Leopard Danios
1 Platy
10 Neon tetras

I should be getting a couple of otos if I can find some where local that sells them.
I was thinking of another group of small peaceful fish as the tank looks very empty, I like Bleeding Heart Tetras and Harlequin Rasboros.

Would either of these be ok or does anybody have any better suggestions.

Thanks for any comments.

Guppies?

Swordtails?

How does your single platy do? im thinking of getting a platy on its own.

Thanks for your replys,
I do like gouramis especially pearls but I wasn't sure how they would do with my other fish as I read they didn't like fast moving fish and mine all race around like maniacs.

My platy has been alone since his friend died about 3 months ago and he seems happy, he swims in the filter flow and now thinks he is a barb and swims around with them most of the time.

if you provide them with a few plants that reach to the top of the water and can give them somewhere to go when things get ha bit too hetic for them they should be ok, thats what i do in my rio and have had the same pair for nearly four years

Dani, pearl gouramis would be a great addition to your tank. They are much more tolerant than other gouramis to different fish and water parameters. I definately vote for those for your tank. :D Look at the fish profile here.

Thanks for all of your help,
I think I will go for the pearl gourami as I have always liked them. I will add a few more plants first so they have plenty of hiding places if they need them.
