Where Did My Fish Go?

I had three neons in with my male betta and now there is two. I have moved everything out the tank,its just gone! Has he ate it?

He might have... I've never kept tank mates with my male bettas... How big is your betta? How big was the neon? If it was smaller then the bettas mouth, he most likely ate it.

hes only a young betta and i would of thought the neon was way too big for his mouth but i have no other explanation to where else it could have gone

Hmm... you checked all over in the tank? In all the decorations, in the gravel, filter, ect?

he probably ate them, with enough picking and ripping it appart he can make it fit in his mouth
my female does the same thing when i forget to feed them for a day she reminds me to feed them by eating my glow light tetras im down to 5 now thanks to her

I doubt that your betta was to blame for losing the neon but, once it was dead, he would have joined the other 2 neons in eating it.

+1 too old man, once dead all 3 of them (betta and 2 neons) would have had a nice meal
