Sorry guys. Pics aren't coming up.

Here, I've fixed the picture for you:

Poor thing. I really don't know.

Thanks Snazy! You've got to teach me that  So that I could do the other pic.

Inherited him with the tank. The tank was Algae infested. It was very bad. I'm hoping my water would make him better. I don't even know what he is. I really hope he's ok. He's eating well and swimming good.

Yay did it! Hope someone can shine some light on it tomorrow.

Does the swollen lumpy area feel hard to the touch?
Or feel soft, filled with fluid?
When your fish goes to the toilet what colour is the fish waste?

All you can do really is isolate the sick fish and try and internal bacteria med.

I didn't want to cause him any stress or discomfort thus have refrained from massaging it.

It now has a trail of red poo about 10cm long. Not good.

Have you been over feeding bloodworms. Any red foods?
Is the fish anus enlarged, or red and inflamed.?

Oh. Im feeding Tetra Prima for my Angel and Catfish. It's a Red colour. But they all gobble it up. But the Gourami also eats Flakes too (red , green, yellow).

No bloodworms at all. No inflammation near anal region.

Many thanks

Check the fish anus to see if it's enlarged, or red and inflamed?
Also feed your fish some shelled peas.
Are scales sticking out?

Can you isolate the sick fish?

He's been hiding all day. Just got a clear look at the anus and it is red. No scales sticking out. He's on his way out. Many thanks Wilder. Appreciate all your help.

A red anus can be due to dropsy, internal parasites.

So sorry that he in such a bad way.
Is he still with us?
