What's wrong with her?

Something white and puffy coming out of her gill on the right side. She also has swollen read bumps around her eyes and a gash on her back near her dorcal. I lost two females about a month ago with similar problems but in different tanks. One had the deep cuts on the top of her head and another had puffy lips and flesh around her eyes. Neither of them lived. What's going on?

It wasn't this bad last night. I put kanancyn in her tank and this morning it was worse.

I tried melafix on one of the females with a similar problem last month and she was dead in an hour. Same goes for pretty much all the fish i've tried melafix on. I'm going to try to stay away from that this time around.

I had a similar problem once, and it was cleared up with Maroxy - fungus meds. I'd say try it, just in case. Good luck!

Mom get's off work at 5:30. I'll ask her to take me to get some right away. Thanks . If the petstore is already closed would the Jungle fungus eliminator you can get at Wal-Mart work?

My mother has had a lot of success with Jungle products -- it even somewhat helped my fish with dropsy, and kept the swelling under control for several days before it was game over. Also had a lot of success with it with a fungus problem as well.

And the nice thing about Jungles is it plays nice together.. the downside is, you get the most -interesting- colors in your tank...
