well today has been interesting to say the least...... I have been really telling my wife how much I would like to get my hands on a festae and today we went to the lfs just to look and what should happen to be there but a male festae about 3.5-4.5 inches right now he is getting used to being around here right now

but I would also like to know what are in other peoples tanks, there are many new faces around here from the days when I first came around here and when I first got here we all pretty much knew what was in each others tanks

my list:

2 Gold Jags
1 Crenicichla Sedentaria

Hahaha!! I'm going to have to guesstimate on some tanks! Here goes;

10-1) 2 platys, 1 small albino bristle nose
10-2) 5 nickel size gold angels
10-3) water, waiting for next spawn
20-1) 1 unidentified plec, 2 orange swords, 6 zebra danios, 3 assorted corys, 1 black angel
20-2) water, quar for anything new that pops up
20-3) 20 or so dime to nickel size silver angels, 5 albino corys, 2 bristlenose
20-4) 30 or so pea to dime size black, koi, marble, gold, & silver angels, 10 pygmy corys, 1 albino bristlenose
20-5) 15 or so quarter size gold angels, 5 panda corys, 1 bristlenose
20-6) 15 or so quarter size silver angels, 4 panda corys, 1 bristlenose
29) breeding pair of silver angels, 2 sterbai cory, 2 julii cory, 1 albino bristlenose
55-1) 5 adult koi angels, 2 adult gold angels, 12 or so assorted dime to half dollar size angels, 3 plecs (this tank & the plecs are my dad's, this is where this zoo started)
55-2) 60 or so dime to quarter size silver & gold angels, 6 bronze corys, 8 or so small bristlenose
65) breeding pair of black angels, zebra & silver pair, 2 adult zebra angels, adult silver angel, 2 albino bristlenose, 5 panda corys

I didn't count the spare tanks that only have air in them, I'd have to dig them out to see what I have. When I joined TFF, I had a 55 & a 10. I could be the poster boy for MTS!

And here I am with only two tanks :( Not for lack of wanting more tanks, though  In addition to my two "full" ones, I also have an empty ten gallon and may be getting my mom's 55 soon.

29 (I love this size tank!)
-10 Neon Tetras
-6 Kuhli Loaches
-4 Otos
-1 Siamese Algae Eater (named Sam; he's bossy)
-1 Guppy (named Baby Fishy, she snuck in the net with some of the Neons when I was adding to my Neon collection)
-2 German Blue Rams (pair)
-2 Quarter-Sized Gold Angels (I think the tank was better without those two - Rams seem to be a bit more stressed with the Angels there now; I think I'm going to transfer them to my mom's tank)

10 that I'm in the process of stocking:
-8 Pygmy Corys (Corydoras pygmaeus)
-2 Little 'Sam Fish' (Siamese Algae Eaters) that I borrowed from work so they can clean up the hair algae that's growing like mad in that tank
Going to add (when I have the money and my boss orders them in):
-8 or so Ember Tetras
-2 (a pair) of Scarlet Badis (Dario dario)

That's all for now :( Someday I shall have more!

Tank one: Oscar, breeding pair of severums, Crenicichla sveni & assorted large oddballs and catfish.

Tank two: Peacock bass and assorted predatory Characins

Tank three: Crenicichla sp "bellycrawler" plus assorted fin nippers and catfish.

Tank four: Breeding pair of kribensis plus assorted community fish.

Remaining 5 tanks contain no Cichlids

Just a 55g with a Jack Dempsey and a Green Terror.

If you want to count my sons tank. A 30g with an Oranda and a Black Moor goldfish. We're fully aware the size they get to. If he behaves maybe....juyst maybe I'll get....errrmmmm He'll get a larger tank when needed :D

I have a 33gal long planted tank which has been up and running for 7 month now. All fish are from the Amazon basin as are some of the plants. I have been researching blackwater Amazon biotopes and have been slowly redoing the decor. It is low-light, sand substrate and heavily filtered with peat. (love the look of heavy tanin) The tank is getting there, but I wouldn't call it a biotope aquarium quite yet.

3 cockatoo cichlids, 1m/2f
2 one-lined pencilfish, pair
14 neon tetras
9 fire head tetras
4 false network corydoras
*I will be adding some ottos when I see some nice ones. I lost 5 over a period of 4-5 months but suspect that the tank just wasn't mature enough for them.

It's in my siggy but here goes...

46 gallon:
2 severums (one green, one red-gold)
2 Kribs (mated pair)
10 serpae tetras
3 neons (tried to get them buddies, but they all died in 3 days)
2 cories (had more, but the kribs weren't happy with them there, so they didn't let them eat)

That's it. I know I will have to re-home my Sevs when they get full sized and I am OK with that. They're both still pretty small right now and I LOVE watching them

80 gallon: 7" common oscar and 5" white and orange midas/sweetheart bloodparrot hybrid

29 gallon: Bumblebee catfish, 6" senegal bichir, and African butterfly fish. Two angels will be added as soon as they're large enough not to be eaten by the bichir :p. They're 1.5" long and in a 10 gallon currently.

My other tanks have no cichlids.
