Whatever happened to 40 watt Penn Plax Grolux bulbs?

That's my favorite. I know Sylvania gro lux is good...but the Penn Plax showed off fish reds and blues and plant greens best of all. It also grew plants very well with minimal algae..and even then it was good looking green algae..none of that black,blue green, all that. I'm using something I bought at Pet Club...but its not as good as olden days gro lux. Not bad..just not as good.
Pickings are getting slim in fluorescents nowadays..but I like to combine them with LED's that tend to be more of a white light. Mix the two together and you can get a look like the photos Aquascapers put out of their tanks.
For some reason,I only find them up to 30" useless for me, not the 48" I want.
