I found a piece of wood down by a reservoir about a year ago. It looks like bogwood, but it may be driftwood. Do I just boil it and use it?

im really not all that sure but i would say boil it anyway. thats what i did :D
alsoi have been told this but im not all that sure but the longer you boil it in hot water the quicker it will sink unassisted by rocks and whatnot.
hope this helps.

in my experience the wood rots faster if you boil it. I'm not saying this is a fact with every piece of wood, just with those I've boiled. You could bake it.

I might have to find a new one. This one is incredibly dry.
