What To Do With My Betta

Hello all, Got a gorgeous blue betta who i love to bits, he has such a nice temprement. My problem is that i have just got a 180Litre tank and this has to be my only tank (replacing 2 smaller tanks) and im worried about introducing him and stressing him out as i believe they find too much space intimidating? What i have been thinking about doing is making a little pen for him within the tank so he is seperated from the rest of the tank, i'd like to get some angels at some stage too but wont unless i can find a way to keep them apart from my betta. The idea i had was to make a sort of pen out of 2mm perspex that could be pushed into the gravel at the bottom and secured above the waterline at the top this would have plenty of 2mm holes drilled to allow for water movement and would keep him seperate from the other tankmates. He would have approximately 50cms x 20cms x 12cms space to swim in.

What do people think? Good idea or bad?

Yes, dividing a section of the tank off for him should work out just fine
