I have a 25 gallon with 5 platies (1 male and 4 female), 1 male molly, 2 black tetras and a loach, I possibly will be adding one or two of my platy babies with this mix.

What fish could I add to make it a nice tank. It is a very tall tank: 24"wide x 12" deep x 20"

What do you guys suggest??

What type of loach is it? You need to increase the tetras to around 5-6 maybe you could add a dwarf gourami

It's a siamese or chinese loach...

Also I don't mind different fish, doesn't have to be a beginner fish, it can be something interesting, although compatible.

Also with tetras.... they are black skirted... should I get the same or can I get different types?

I've never seen one that birghlty coloured and that pic is SOO bright I though it was a Blue Ram at first but the body shape looks bolivian...

This is a bit fairer:

Is the loach you have a chinese sucking loach by any chance?

If so you need to know that it will get enourmous and VERY aggressive, definitely not good in a 25G tank community.

Yes I believe that is the loach I have. I had one before and it grew to about 3-4 inches and he was awesome and then he died. So that's why I got another one.

Well my advice is get rid of it asap or put it in a tank on it's own.

There are plenty of options for similar, more socialble fish, for a 25G.
