I have a female betta who is quite different from the rest. not only is she massive, and yet extremely gentle (always gets picked on 
) but she has different fins from the others as well, or so it seems to me. I have issues with telling females apart... i just cant figure it out lol. Take pity on me, look at these pics, and please let me know what you think?

fins are clamped unfortunately, but i figured that might help...
Better to see the fin shape, but not much to see her body lol
and thats all i have at the moment... since she gets picked on she hides in the plants most of the time, but if you need it i could get some other pics. She's probably just a huge vieltail female lol but I figure ill ask to figure out for sure
also, does anyone know if the girly in my sig is just a veiltail?
..or perhaps would someone show me the differences in females tails... ive seen pictures i think on thsi forum in the info area or whatever it is (too lazy to look, lol, sorry) but i cant quite understand the differences....

i think i may have it figured out now though... is ray branching where it starts out as a single ray, but splits? if so then the huge female is just an older VT i guess, and that makes Skye (the blue girly in my sig) something else, but I have to get a closer look at her to figure out which exactly..
