What Soil To Use In Planted Tanks

i am trying to setup a plant tank and i want to us a dirt/soil base then capp with small pebbles does anyone know a good organic dirt you can buy which is good for this i live in the uk so i must be able to get it in like B&q or homebase

Hi mate, I believe you need to look out for John Innes compost no.3 or no.1 I think (look for lime-free).. People also use cat litter. Someone else can prbably advise better
