Hey all, so i currently have a 28l tank homing platy fish which is going fairly well although i'll be upgrading around christmas. I have a second tank which is about 15l which i use for homing platy fry and for platys giving birth. I have a 12 litre tank and want to do something with it, it's a very small tank i know but i hate knowing i have a tank that isn't in use. I was thinking cherry shrimp but even then i'd hate to just risk it being too small. Any ideas?

12 litres is a pretty small tank.

At best maybe a Betta Splenden or perhaps as you already mentioned a shrimp set up.

These shrimps set up can be pretty cool. I have seen some stunning shrimp set ups, so its worth doing.

I currently do have a 19 litre tank for amano, red cherries and ramshorn snails with low tech plants :)

thanks! I think i'm going to find a baby betta and raise him/her :) or i may look into finding 'abused' bettas that are neglected at pet stores and bringing them to health
