What Should I Be Doing ?

im in the process of cycling a rio 180 .  it had about a weeks cycling with no mature media , and has been cycling with mature media now for about 2 weeks . for about a week now ive been dosing ammonia to 3ppm , then the next day getting results of ammonia 0ppm , nitrite 1 ppm .  every day because ammonia is 0 im re dosing to 3 ppm . is this the right thing to do ?

Wait until the nitrite drops below 1ppm before redosing ammonia.
 
You are at this stage of the cycle guide:

whenever you test and ammonia is .25 ppm or lower and nitrite is clearly under 1 ppm, it is time to add a full ammonia dose again and test in 24 hours.

thanks . il skip dosing ammonia tonight and test nitrites again when i get in from work tomorrow

no dose yesterday as reccomended, and this morning i had zero on both ammonia and nitrite. dosed again before i went to work . fingers crossed for double zeros soon as ive got my eye on some f1 labidochromis hongi
