What Sex?

yeah it looks like a male to me

why the confusion??

That smaller fish in the background, which looks like a female, isn't in the same tank, is she? If she is, both fish are in some serious danger and should be separated ASAP. Males and females will fight to the death or to the point of severe injury under all but only the most carefully selected, short-term breeding conditions.
Your male's fins look a tad ragged. Did he comes this way, or is this the result of fin-nipping between the male and female providing they are being housed together?

:( the fighter came normal... it has been fighthing with the small other fish and bit half its tail off.. the little fish has bit the fighters tail as well.. and they are housed in the same tank..

im thinking of removing the small fish and adding another betta... is that recommended B) thanks

bettas NEVER go with other bettas.
rule number 1

what are the other fish that are in with him?
how big is his tank?

Uh... link don't work.

male fighters can not go with male fighters, hence the name fighters. female fighters can't either. OK?
