Hi all,

dead simple question :D

I'm familiar with java moss, java fern, Bolbitis, Riccia... but what other plants have people had success with in afficing to submerged wood? (especially varieties with smaller foliage).

Cheers!

malay fern aswell, looks more like anubias nana but is a lighter green and has more jaggedy edges, very pretty :)

I've had success with Cryptocoryne spp. and some species of Echinodorus I guess any plant can be tied to wood.

some have success with HC 'cuba'.

Lilaeopsis can be too, you can buy it like it on eBay.

Excellent suggestions, for the nano I may try Echinodorus myself thanks :)

I've yet to venture into crypts (only because of cypt melt stories) are they pretty easy/robust?

Personally, I've found it to be dependent on species, I've found some to be more susceptible than others, some throw a hissy fit when you change the flow around the tank  But others have been bullet proof, the difference in water chemistry from where you've bought them from and your tank will have some impact too.
