My male Butter was only £100 because he came with a full set-up as well and is five(nearly six) years old

My female Hypo is seven(nearly eight) years old. My new pair are both only a few months old. They were hatched this year. So all in all, not too pricey really.

I've been paying a bit towards this new pair since they hatched in late June/early July :lol:

The most expensive bit of corn snake keeping is the equipment. You need quite a bit more than most pet shops will tell you.

You need;
1x Vivariums - babies are usually started off in Really Useful Boxes with hoels drilled in as they would get out of a 3ft vivarium.
1x Large Waterbowl - And a small for the baby viv/box :)
1x Thermostat
1x Heatmat
2+x Hides - At least one for the cool end and one for the warm end.
Substrate - Aspen, Beech Chips, etc
A viv lock - Corn Snakes are escape artists.

yea thats alot but do they eat mice or pinkies?

It depends on there age and size. They start on pinkies and move up the sizes(pinky, fluff, hopper, small, medium, large and sometimes even extra large) as they grow :)

i see, i really couldnt have a pet that would eat crickets oor mice for that matter.

Yeah... You have the keep the frozen mice in a freezer or you can breed your own and cull them when they reach the right size :/ Not for the faint of heart.
