Hello, Wendigo was marked under the half moon tab when I got him at the pet store, but they've been wrong before and I've gotten rusty on telling what tail type a betta is. I know that he's obviously male.. just not sure if he's half-moon or not.

Sorry in advance for the humongous pictures.

Here are two pictures of when I FIRST got him. (About two minutes after I got him in the tank)

That and this one

A picture I took of him just a few hours ago... I couldn't get him to fully display his fins, so this is as
close as I could get... sorry. I can try again later but he doesn't usually display that often.

Yes, you will probably notice that his eye is clouded over. I've already asked about it, he's blind in one eye. The other one is starting to cloud over as well but is taking a lot longer to do so then that eye you see above. He's super awesome still, doesn't bother him a bit. I'm so proud of Wendigo. <3

He's a beautiful fish!
If it's the same one as the first 2 pictures he must have been very young when you got him.
Can't really tell from the last pic but looking at the first 2, I agree he looks like a delta tail altho it would be better to see him in full flare!
Here's the link to a site that shows all the different tail types:
http://bubblesandbettas.blogspot.co.uk/p/betta-breeds-tail-types.html
Re his eye it looks like he's a dragon - they have thick, solid, metallic scales and unfortunately they are much thicker than standard betta scales and they tend to grow over the eyes. You can see each individual fish-scale on his body as if they are outlined. I have a dragon plakat and he's got partial scales over his eyes too. He manages to see his food tho and greets me at the front of his tank each morning. Just try not to move things around too much as his sight deteriorates so he'll be able to find his way around the tank just like a human who is blind and needs familiar surroundings.

It is really hard to tell without a full flare pic.  Deltas, super deltas, HM, and OHM can pretty much look the same from some stances until they flare up and really spread their tail.  I agree that he looks to be a delta or super delta but I have been surprised by some and they turn out to actually be OHM (greater than 180 spread).  When he flares, his tail needs to be a " D " to be a HM.  Anything less than the straightline in the front(toward his body) part of the " D " is not considered HM if that helps when you get him to flare but of course can't snap a pic.   He is a very nice looking betta.  :)

As far as his eyes go, he doesn't appear to be a dragon but the thought behind what Mamashack said is pretty spot on about how it looks.  The thing about blind bettas is routine and not changing the tank around.  Because he does still have some sight until the other eye completely clouds over, it will be a good time to set up the routine of when and where you feed him and how you keep his tank.  I recommend not moving decorations or anything else in the tank because he will be come used to where everything is and be able to fully function even if blind

Thank you for the compliments. :)

I think he's a delta tail. I looked at bubbles and betta website (Haha, I've read it before you linked it xD) and it looks to me like he's a delta tail, since when he flared there wasn't much there. It pretty much just looked like the picture, but with a bit more flare.

As for his eye... thank you SO much for the tips.
I though he was dragon scale, he's got like the thing at the top of his head that some/most dragon scales have.
Anyways, I'll make sure that I don't move things around. I'm thinking of putting in real plants, but I'll just put them in the same places as the others and try to make them the same length.

Does he still greet you at the front of his tank? Now would probably be the best time to make those changes whilst he still has some vision left. Not sure what thing you mean on the top of his head tho.

I think what the OP is referring to is the way the scaling of most dragon bettas results in a line of different colored scales down the middle of the head.  Some dragons don't have this since they are "full mask" and some bettas that are not dragons have the different colored line of scales on the face.

Now would be the perfect time to set things up the way you want, moving stuff around and adding things like live plants so he can get used to them while he can still see.  :)

@Mamashak - Yes, he does still greet me at the tank.
The other eye is going very slowly, VERY slowly. It'll be some time before he's fully blind.

@Wildbetta - YES! That's exactly what I was trying to say. It's a darker blue.

Yes, I agree. I'm hanging out with a friend tomorrow, so I might as well go to PetSmart and get some plants or such!
If I can find any money, that is. :p

Money is always useful in a hobby (habit!) like fish-keeping, Bluesand! lol

I got paid yesterday so off to get some shrimp as clean-up crew for the 60L. They've been marvellous in the 30L betta tank! Constantly munching! lol

I wish I had enough room for some cory's, but in the five gal, that's just too much.

You could always save up for another tank............

I could, but then I'd have too many pets xD
I already once had three betta fish and a 10gal, along with my many other pets. I barely got by with them :s
I'm *trying* to cut down now.
