what is the best tank mates for a jack dempsey

ok i have two jack dempseys and i would love to get them some friends. i wanted to get two blue dempseys but i cant find any anywhere. i need help with what to put in there. but i dont want them to get huge. my pacu is still looking for a home. well i look foward to seeing the results to this post.

If and when I place an order I will probably be bringing some in.

There are a whole slew of fish you could put in with your JD's.

One question you haven't answered yet...how big are your JD's?

um between 1 and 2 in i think. i bought them when they were tiny so yea about 1 or 2 inches i think.

blue dempseys according to jeff rapp, are just breeding of two dempseys that have exceptional color. no real difference they are gorgeous colored fish though. you could go with texas cichlids, green terrors. or just stay with the dempseys. can't add too many fish with those size tanks.
