I think bigroof thought you had rainbow cichlids, Heterotilapia multispinosa, which are central American cichlids.

Yes you are right. I thought they were Herotilapia multispinos. Which are also known as rainbow cichlid. To be honest even if they were just rainbow fish and the shark i still don't feel comfortable with mixing them with African cichlids. Even though peacocks are not the most aggressive African cichlids it might not go down very well when they are adults. This is just my personal opinion. I have seen videos online of this kinda thing working. So you might be able to.
