What do you feed your Geophagus?

What do people feed their geos? Assuming small pellets would be best as they need to sink to the substrate for them to sift through. What brands and variety do you use?

They will come to the surface for floating food and will continue to sort through the gravel afterwards.

Northfin cichlid is some of the best food around. I wish it floated through.

But bites is good stuff too.

Marine mix, which is a mixture of prawn, fish and squid that has been blended up and frozen into sheets or cubes. You can use prawn or fish separately, along with frozen (but defrosted) foods like brineshrimp, daphnia, mysis shrimp, bloodworms, etc.
