What did you get from your loved one(s) for Valentine's Day? I got some chocolate and sweet hearts.  Thank you dad!

Nothing, and nothing. Perhaps I'm just not romantic but V's day is over-priced. We wait until our wedding anniversary at the end of February as by then champagne and flowers are back to normal price.

Gave my husband a card.
Gave my son a book, a teddy bear, tictacs, and gum. Lol.

Cake lol just shared and then watched movies.
Don't really thing V day should be the day to show love towards someone, should be everyday you should. Not saying you should give chocolates everyday, but affection... lol

I gave all of my friends a handmade card, a chcocolate bar, and an origami flower I made.
 
I gave my boyfriend 2 bags of Ghirardelli chcolates (dark, 55% cacao, and dark with mint, 60% cacao), and a card that measured 2 ft by 1 1/2 ft. His face was priceless.
 
He gave me a little makeup bag with the Naked Basics pallet by Urban Decay, a Sinful Colors nail polish in Summer Peach, an EOS Lipbalm, and a hand sanitizer.
 
My mom gave me Reeses Peanut Butter Cups, Hershey's Kisses, and York Peppermint Patties.

Now, you can call me Mr Grumpy if ya like, but let's just remember, and SSU said basically the same thing, that St Valentine's Day is just a profit-making exercise for the greetings card companies and florists.
 
The wife and I, as we always do, completely ignored it, and saved a bucket load of money.
