Are you running the T8 & T5 or only the T5's now :look:

Well, its tough to say really but You could probably do just fine with some LPS corals as well. Most types of brain coral or euphylla genus corals (frogspawn, hammer, elegance, torch etc) are pretty non-demanding fromt he LPS world. Also other polyps like zooanthids or green star polyps might work very well for you. Mushrooms, ricordea, xenia, and of course just about any other softie would be fine. I'd stay away from all SPS though, their survival rate would be low and even if they did survive their growth rate would be miniscuscle.

Edit, remember as your coral level rises, (especially with LPS) you'll need to monitor your alk and calc more closely. Eventually you may hvae to dose for others to keep things in the "good" range :)

ok great thanks wot was wot i was hoping to hear :)

That is just another headache to add to the pile of info you will need to digest

I would say to get gened up on Kalk & its effects on your reef way before dosing it

You will also need to moniter your Mag, Cal, Kh (& the balance betwwen them) & Phos if you are thinking of adding LPS

:good:

lol, well i think im just gunna keep softies, mushrooms and polyps as they are easy under my lighting but also i will only have about 9 corals max prehaps depending on wot is right.
