For me thats making friends with people who have a common interest and therefore want to hear what you have to say about your fish.

Non fish loving people get bored very quickly if you go on and on about fish.

Plus the reassurance that you are doing it right/wrong and the help and opinions people give is really great.

My fish are all eternally grateful that i've been in here reading all the fish topics , but i also really enjoy getting to know the people behind the advice.. seeing their pics, hearing about their trips.. even catching a few healthy fights now and then..

Way more fun in here than most other forums!!

well quite a lot, and one member has only 3.1%(out of over 350posts) of their posts that even mention a fish.
