Not sure on the bgkf i know they do get quite big and looking at the rtbs my one is around 6" and is very active i wouldnt like to put it in less than a 4ft to be honest

Whats the stocking now?

For a fully grown RTB i think about 75G is min. BGK can get 22" although normally smaller i wouldnt want to keep one in anything less than 150G because they are very easily stunted.

the stocking is far too much at the minute but will be sorted once the discus move on ;)

yeah the biggest fish in there at the minute is the rtbs so i have no worries for a long while yet

OK thank you for that. What about a 4ft for a BGKF? Because I'm getting a 4ft just after Christmas... I really like them and would love one but if I'm not experienced enough then I would settle for a RTBS.

Alessa!

I wouldnt keep them in anything less than a 5'. After seeing a fully grown one it put me off getting one for my 5x2x2 because i felt it was to small for one.
