Not sure on the bgkf i know they do get quite big and looking at the rtbs my one is around 6" and is very active i wouldnt like to put it in less than a 4ft to be honestHi! Gorgeous pics!
Just thought I'd as you have one, What size tank does a RTBS need? What about a BGKF?

Fair enough, There only small so i doubt it will be a problem any time soon and atleast you have a nice busy tank.the stocking is far too much at the minute but will be sorted once the discus move on![]()

For a fully grown RTB i think about 75G is min. BGK can get 22" although normally smaller i wouldnt want to keep one in anything less than 150G because they are very easily stunted.

OK thank you for that. What about a 4ft for a BGKF? Because I'm getting a 4ft just after Christmas... I really like them and would love one but if I'm not experienced enough then I would settle for a RTBS.
