Water

Hi All

I've set up my tank filled it up switched it on added some aqua plus (Sunday). On Monday morning added some cycle to the tank and also a air stone.In the evening i did a ph test the result was 7.5
Today i notice that the water is cloudy so i've done ammonia test result=0 Nitrite test =0.3
Is this cloudyness normal or is the air stone causing problems?
I have a Fluval duo deep 800 and all the Fluval goodies to go with it it is 126 Ltrs or 27 uk gal.

Congrats on your new tank. What have you got as gravel? Did you rinse it well as this can cause cloudiness. Still a very new tank so I wouldn't worry too much
ph ok ammonia good nitrites need to be nil as well. Could try a 20% water change then retest tomorrow.

Got some moonglow gravel and did wash it well b4 it went in the tank. Will keep an eye on it and try water change in a few days.
