Hi all

A Question to all, when fill A tank fr the first time, shouldthe water be treated before placing into the tank or while it is in the tank.

Also isnt it advisable to have a quarentine tank to place purchased fish, before adding to your main tank..

None of the books and info ive seen seem to clear

The first batch doesn't matter, but after that- yes, it is a good idea if you can manage it.

Keeping them seperated is simply so that if the fish came with a disease your main tank won't get infected. Necessary, no - advisable, yes.
