Water sprite / spangles maintance

Ive got water sprite (Ceratopteris cornuta) in all my tanks. Grows like wild fire.

Do i need to do any upkeep on it to keep it healthy in the coming months? So far ive let it be and just taken some out when it covers too much of the surface.

I put the spangle in a while back and the leaves went brown so i took most of it out. But its really taken back off since the water sprites been in.

I regularly trim my WS especially if any leaves turn brown or black or just to thin it out a bit.

I quite like the water spangles. Im rescaping this tank the weekend and debating whether to take the water sprite out and just have the spangle in it.

Good choice. I like frogbit but it only lasted a few months for me. Water sprites really took off for me tho

Water sprite can also be pretty cool if you plant it in the substrate

I ordered 3 water sprite plants from the LFS today, hopefully they will be in next week so I can add them to my new tank
