Water Question

I'm hopefully gonna be filling my tank up to start my cycle today but Ijust need to check......will the bathroom cold tap be alright? I know there's issues with hot water. It's just apparently the water upstairs all comes from the tank?

if it comes from a storage tank in the attic it's a big no no i'm affraid, it'll have to come direct from the mains
