.......and not rotkeil if it's although it's my last resort.

I'm really wanting a severum that isn't your typical as above selection.

What likely options do I have in this country (uk for those that don't know) of finding one and does anyone know of any?

Balem spelling sometimes called blue faced severum, sometimes seen but not often!

Heros notatus, spurius, fasciatus

Thanks, I'd heard of notatus and spurius but not the other two. :good:

I've been caught out when I was searching before as there is another name for notatus too but can't remember it   I know it begins with a G though.

Seems to be hard to find anywhere that stocks any though. But then being up this end of the country the only places I know to look are aquarist classifieds and tropicalfishfinder.

There is a shop in leeds that has a Belum in at the moment and there is a shop in Hull that have some young sp.Tapajo severums which are like common greens but lots and lots of red markings all over.

Best places to look are Aquarist classified and the east anglica cichlid group :)

What's wrong with the greens. I think they are stunning.

You could look for a notatus the males are amazing females are not as cool.
