Walkers has asked me to post some pics of his new fish.
Gorgous Choccy cichlid, nice pair of JD's couple of scratty rotties Finny the rottie I saved from the filter has now found a home with Davette, great group

6th one down did he get a diadema or is that a metae

no he didnt get either of those. he did however pick up 2 jacks and 2 rainbow cichlids but im guessing its one of the rainbows, maybe stressed a little

it does look like a diadema or a metae though i have to admit

i thought my camera skills were bad

can you turn the links into pics star? as i dont know how

My Aequidens coeruleopunctatus

and Aequidens Metae

IMO from the white around the tail spot I have a suspicion they are metae

No I think I am wrong, looking again, much more like Aequidens tetramerus. Walkers I hate you (I am kidding)

ive asked him to confirm the species and as he is still on a ban ill have to relay the messages

he still thinks that they are rainbow cichlids as they were described by the previous owner..... i actually didnt get a decent look at them when we collected them so im going on walkers word...

Rainbows have a slight fork in their tail these guys dont they have a more rounded aequidenes shape tail. Still gorgous
