Here’s my tank!
Size: 10 gallon standard, divided
Established: about 2 months ago using media from another tank, fully cycled
Filter: Tetra internal filter whisper 10i
Light: Originally for reptiles, I have a low wattage basking bulb in a heat lamp sitting on a mesh lid for the tank (I will be replacing these with more appropriate lights very soon!)
Substrate: natural river gravel, some large river stones
Decorations: 3 silk plants, slate tiles (hard to see in the picture, but it’s up against the divider)
Fish: two male bettas, a black mustard gas and a black crowntail, separated.

Maintenance:
The glass and divider are kept clean by rubbing the algae off, I add new water whenever needed, I condition the water using seachem prime. I don’t keep this tank on any particular cleaning schedule.
Feeding: I feed the fish 5-6 days out of the week with betta pellets and flakes. I try to get each fish 4 pellets and skip a day or two to prevent digestive issues from the pellets or flakes until I can get healthier foods.

So, this tank is clearly not in its final stages of competition, but we’re getting there! Thanks for reading about it! :)

Tank is a Topfin retreat 5g with the filter compartment removed

Fish inside are:

Pair of wild type honey gouramis
Pair of sparkling gouramis
Ember tetras
Mystery snails
Pencil fish

Rotala nanjenshan
Myriophyllum
Rotala macrandra

Lighting is ONF flat nano+ and lights are on for 10 hours a day.

Filtration is an azoo mini hob.

I fertilize with 1ml of flourish and trace after every water change.

Substrate is used Amazonia supplemented with root tabs.

Water change is done every 4 days and tank has been setup for almost two months now.

I feed my fish NorthFin pellets (community and krill pro), and twice a week they get frozen food (daphnia, baby brine, spiraling enhanced brine, music shrimp)
