Im going to assume the section with the fish tank is more humid. If so I would put the fly trap there... They like humid environments. Or you could put it in the orchid area in a "semi-enclosed" area and mist it one to two times a day.
Theres some filtered sunlight near fish tank

Whenever i try to grow a venus fly trap they always die. I dont know why.
is it dry where you live?
over here its so dry that you need to add more water when you waterchange to top off

i made it a little greenhouse and it's doing well

recently went on a trip to hawaii forgot to water it a while, and some black leaves, but it has recovered!

haven't fed anything yet, but i read that it does not need to be fed...

do any fish food brands work for you ?

It never lasts long enough to try to feed it. I grow it indoors.

Here we could probably keep them out doors... We live in the wetlands of their native habitat 😉

Nah, I just let the locals live - Or if they are about to be exterminated by the local 'eeektoids' I relo them outside.
saw a cool spider today, looks like this (not my photo)
