I'm going on vacation for two weeks at the end of August and we're getting somebody to come up to the house once every three days. I'm wondering if my 37g tank will be okay with twice a week top offs? I'm scared he'll forget a day...

depends on the climate where you live really, if you have air con you can leave on a timer it should be fine

i'd just do a big water change before you go away and aim for slightly below the normal SG so you have a bit of room for error

Temp will be hot. At least 83F, but probably no more than 85F in the house.

I'd turn down your photoperiod on your lights. Go for 4-6 hours to reduce the risk of overheating.

Umm. It's kind of hard to tell, I just fill it to the rim everyday. I'd say almost 1/4 gallon a day.

Well, if you set the tank so when full the sg is lower than usual (say 1.023) that will give you some room for error...
