upside down cats and chiclids

will upside down and chiclids go well together in a 30 gal tank i bout 2 cats 2day and was wondering b4 i put them in my community tank cuz my 30gal cycled but i dont have and chiclids in it yet ?

what cichlids are you going to be putting them in with?

im not really sure yet cuz the local petco doesnt say wut kinds they are all it says is asst. african cichlids on the tag

synodontis nigriventris is one of the more peaceful cats. does need to be kept in small schools to feel comfortable. would not keep it with the more aggressive africans though.

I agree with semper. it's safest to assume the worst when buying from an 'assorted' tank, I wouldn't take the chance.
