So, you want to upload pics to TFF, but don't know how.  This quick tutorial should help you with that.

1 - have the picture you want to upload on your computer.
    Note:
We have a limit of 300kb per photo, so here's a few tips to make sure your photo is smaller than that.
    • When taking the photo, reduce the image quality setting on your camera or phone.
    • If you have taken the photo on an iPhone, email the photo to yourself. The phone will give you the option of reducing the quality.
    • Use a free photo editing software, such as GIMP, to alter the image quality of a jpeg image - 50% is fine for use on a website.
    • Use a free online resizing website (Google "Resize jpeg") to reduce the size of the photo and hence the size of the file.

2 - in the lower right hand corner of the screen, you'll see the "More Reply Options" button.

3 - Click the browse button.

4 - Find the picture on your device.

5 - Click "Attach This File".

This picture will now show up in your post as a "thumbnail" at the bottom of your post.

If you want the picture in the middle of your post, place the cursor where you want the picture to show up and click the "Add to Post" button.

It will look something like this:

    Additional information:

These photos will stay with your user account and are easily found using the "My Media" button in the post editor.

Clicking that button, just use the "Attachments" tab and all your uploaded photos will be visible and searchable for easy inclusion in future posts.

For example, here's an old photo I've posted months and months ago of my group of panda cories:

It should actually be in the Beginners Section. I have no luck trying to explain how to do it. Like the blind leading the blind. Lol!

I believe we are going to be upgrading to new forum software soon which will automatically resize pictures that are too large to post at an acceptable size.
