Hi guys,
little update on Casper.
He's been doing fine.
Since he was bloated a week ago, I started feeding him only a pellet a day because the fasting week had no results. He is a little less bloated now for some reason.
He's been a little slow, probably because he's bored but sometimes leaves his hammock or his cave and swims around quite actively.
He loves to jump at the mosquitos on the lid of his tank but unfortunately I can't get any of the mosquitos inside of the actual lid, so that he doesn't just hit in the lid but actually catch the mosquito.
Other than that, he's fins are a bit weird at the moment. One of his fins split in two or something, it looks like it was ripped. And his anal fin looks like he was bitting it, I can't be sure. I'm going to pay a bit more attention to that in the next few days.
That's all about him I guess. I'm trying to find some suitable tank mates for him in his new house he will be getting this christmas, a 15 gallon, take a look at my post where I had some suggestions:
Tiger Barb Tank Mates .
And a funny thing.
We are talking about reproduction in biology and the teacher had a photo of a betta and she said "some fish change their colors to attract females to have babies". First I laughed cause she was tanking like we're 6 granders, then I laughed because she didn't know what she was talking about and then I almost raised my hand to say she was wrong but oh whatever.
Just feels good to know more than the teacher.
