So here's a little back story to all this... Recently I've lost a lot of fish due to ick the remaining fish have been treated and the water has been changed loads so that's all good. Due to this I've lost almost all of my tetras but I am going this week to get more. Previously the black oranda was in the same tank as the rest of my fish but since it lives in a cool temperature I had to relocate it. I have added a dividor into make tank will a lot of floating plants for birthing so that I don't have to use a breeding trap (yay!) if there's any other changes I should make to my tank (other than more tetras) I would really appreciate the feedback. Thanks a ton

Main aquarium:
2 Bronze cory catfish ( nacho and libre)
1 neon tetras (Gorge)
1 black skirt tetra (Bartok)
1 blood fin tetras
1 golden loach (Goldie)
2 high fin Dalmatian mollies (M, Langton. F, Gwen)
1 high fin golden molly (F, Sarah)
1 sunburst tux platy (F, Cas)
1 red wag platy (M, Wesson)
1 Sunburst Mickey Mouse platy (F, Minnie)
1 pineapple swordtail (M, Timmy)
2 pineapple swordtails (M, Jake. F, Ruby)

Separate tank:
1 black oranda (coppertone)
1 loach ( nowhere man, for now)

Hi sorry about your losses :/ how big are both tanks?

And the stocking sounds very bad, your two cories need 4 more of same species, the neon tetras need 5 more, black skirts need 5 more, the blood fins need 5 more, the golden loach needs 5 more and doing this would definitely over stock your tank unless you have like a 75 gallon tank.

My big tank is a 40g and my smaller one is a 10g. Like I said I'm getting a bunch more tetras and I'm getting a separate tank for them probably a 20-25ish

What fish are in what tanks, an extra 20 gallon will still leave you overstocked im afraid.

Plus that oranda still needs a larger tank... What kind of loach is the one with the oranda?

Definitely don't divide either tank. All your fish need much more room than they've currently got. In your case, just let the fry get eaten. Your tank will be much more stable that way. If you can separate your males from the females in regards to your livebearers, that would be even better.
