Updated Pics Of My Two Planted Tanks

I thought I'd share some new pics of my two small planted tanks. I started off with fake plants and went natural and love it. They are just small betta tanks in my bedroom

I've got some duckweed coming for the top which should look nice and the bettas will like that. I'm loving real plants now. I'm not entirely happy with the first tank but I'm sure as time goes on I'll do better with that one. I'm open to any suggestions. I saw the same tank put in for the March tank of the month. The fluval Spec and that is heads and shoulders above mine.

Thanks to those guys who've given me plant advice and tips along the way Oh and the betta in the second tank is new today, he's at the bottom in the pics because he's investigating the snail lol

I've been trimming the java fern lately. I hope I'm doing it right. I've been cutting off brown and damaged leaves off at the bottom, I'm hoping it will start sprouting some nice fresh leaves.

Pruning is always a good idea, it encourages new growth

Thanks, that's my fave. I've just bunged a few bits in the first one. I really need to sort that other tank out though

I still have that tank like that lol. Been wanting to go planted in that one for ages. Change the lot. I never get round to it though. It does brigten up the room lol
