Unwell Betta ....looking For Advice

Hi

I am looking for any help with my unwell Betta fish. He recently has a bulge on one side of his stomach and within the last day or two he has became very lethargic and barely moves from the bottom of the tank. I have tried feeding him peas and doing water changes. The ph and temp are all fine. I have read up about dropsy but I do not think it is this as his scales are not effected and it is only one side of his stomach that is swollen.

Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated.

"bulge" is a fairly broad term. Does it look like it is beneath the scales or internal? Any color to it? could you post a pic (even a poor one) as it could be very helpful in determining what is wrong with the fish.
