I was thinking about gettting an all platy tank( in my tanks platies arent very active and social with the other fish! lol) but i was thinking 3-4? 3 females 1 male or 2 females and 1 male....i am trying to get a certain trait, mickeymouse, except my LPS just got these new "candy" platies and they are yellow and they have red dots all over them! soo cool! but yeah i will get another tank for the fry too, would a 5gl. be better for them?

Guppies are, though! 
I have a heavily planted 2.5 gallon with 7 teeny tiny "feeder" guppies and they luv it! I also think they are more interesting to watch... but then again I guess I am kind of biased.
