I had to use Erythromycin..and its done a great job. But I have been told (after the fact) that a product called Ultralife bluegreen slime remover will also just take on that bacteria/algae and do a 100% job.
Some people are against antibiotics and I just had to make a move as it was getting out of hand now.
But I might order the Ultrashine. about $20 with shipping and it treats 300 gallons. That would make it slightly less costly then buying Ery at Pet Club.
I know this is a scourge of sand tanks around the world.
